DTC U0100-87: Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" Missing Message; DTC U0101-87: Lost Communication with TCM Missing Message; DTC U0103-87: Lost Communication with Gear Shift Control Module "A" Missing Message; DTC U0125-87: Lost Communication with Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module Missing Message; DTC U0126-87: Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module Missing Message; DTC U0131-87: Lost Communication With Power Steering Control Module Missing Message; DTC U0134-87: Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Rear Missing Message; DTC U0140-87: Lost Communication with Body Control Module Missing Message; DTC U0151-87: Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module Missing Message; DTC U115C-87: Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" (ch5) Missing Message [10/2023 - ]: Description

The following DTCs are output when there is a communication malfunction between a sensor or ECU.

U0100-87 Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" Missing Message When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V and the vehicle speed exceeds 15 km/h (9 mph), data cannot be received from the ECM for 2 seconds or more.

U0101-87 Lost Communication with TCM Missing Message When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V and the vehicle speed exceeds 15 km/h (9 mph), data cannot be received from the TCM for 2 seconds or more.

U0103-87 Lost Communication with Gear Shift Control Module "A" Missing Message When the voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 V or more, data cannot be received from the shift control ECU (transmission floor shift assembly) for 5 seconds or more.

U0125-87 Lost Communication with Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module Missing Message Either of the following is detected:
  • When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, data from the acceleration sensor cannot be received for 1 second or more.
  • When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, the following occurs 10 times in succession within 60 seconds:
    • Data from the acceleration sensor cannot be received once or more within 5 seconds.

U0126-87 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module Missing Message Either of the following is detected:
  • When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, data from the steering sensor cannot be received for 1 second or more.
  • When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, the following occurs 10 times in succession within 60 seconds:
    • Data from the steering sensor cannot be received once or more within 5 seconds

U0131-87 Lost Communication With Power Steering Control Module Missing Message When the voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, data from the power steering ECU assembly cannot be received for 1 second or more.

U0134-87 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Rear Missing Message Either of the following is detected:
  • When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, data from the DRS ECU (rear steering link assembly) cannot be received for 1 second or more.
  • When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, the following occurs 10 times in succession within 60 seconds:
    • The condition that data from the DRS ECU (rear steering link assembly) cannot be received occurs once or more within 5 seconds.

U0140-87 Lost Communication with Body Control Module Missing Message The +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V, the vehicle speed is 6 km/h (4 mph) or more, data cannot be received from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) continuously for 2 seconds or more.

U0151-87 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module Missing Message When the +BS terminal voltage is between 9.5 and 17.4 V and the vehicle speed exceeds 7 km/h (4 mph), data cannot be received from the airbag ECU assembly for 5 seconds or more.

U115C-87 Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A" (ch5) Missing Message Data cannot be received from the ECM for 2 seconds or more.
