Pre-procedure1

• Disconnect the B89 and B90 rack and pinion power steering gear assembly connector.

• Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  Standard Resistance

  Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
  B90-11 (PGND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
  B89-4 (GNDB) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

• None

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
