Power Source Mode does not Change (No Interior Verification) [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Start Function) 
    1. Check the smart access system with push-button start (for Start Function).

      for HEV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2023 - ]

      for Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2023 - ]

  2. CHECK POWER SOURCE MODE CHANGING FUNCTION 
    1. Place the digital key on the center console near the vehicle interior BLE digital key receiver.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure there is no electronic device that outputs high-voltage or noise inside or around the vehicle.
      • Make sure that the digital key is not covered by or touching a metal object.
    2. Check the power source mode changing function.

  3. CAUSE ANALYSIS 
    1. Perform cause analysis in the following tables.

      1. Perform function inspection: Refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2021 - ]
      Operating Power Switch/ Digital Key No Motion Verification was performed even though no digital key movement was detected The vibration sensor of the digital key may be disabled or malfunctioning
      1. Perform troubleshooting for the digital key
      Operating Power Switch/ Digital Key Response NG Digital key verification has failed A normal signal cannot be received from the digital key due to noise, etc.
      1. Refer to Precautions for Inspection or Registration and perform an inspection to check if the radio wave environment is the cause of problem: Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - ]

      1. Check the message display of the digital key

        Perform function inspection: Refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2021 - ]

    2. Take appropriate action in accordance with the result of the cause analysis.

  4. CHECK DIGITAL KEY DISPLAY 
    1. Check the message display of the digital key.
      NOTE:

      If a message is not displayed on the digital key, a BLE connection cannot be established.

    1. Check if there is digital key available that is already registered to the vehicle.

    1. Register a digital key (share key).

  8. CHECK POWER SOURCE MODE CHANGING FUNCTION 
    1. Place another registered digital key on the center console near the vehicle interior BLE digital key receiver.

      • Make sure that the digital key is not covered by or touching a metal object.

    1. Replace the BLE indoor digital key receiver assembly with a new one or used one.

    2. Place the digital key on the center console near the vehicle interior BLE digital key receiver.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure there is no electronic device that outputs high-voltage or noise inside or around the vehicle.
      • Make sure that the digital key is not covered by or touching a metal object.
    3. Check the power source mode changing function.

  11. REGISTER DIGITAL KEY CODE 
    1. Register the digital key code to the digital key ECU assembly.

      for Gasoline Model: Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]

    1. Register the digital key (owner key) using the original digital key.

  13. CHECK POWER SOURCE MODE CHANGING FUNCTION

    1. Register the digital key (share key) with which the power source mode could not be changed to another vehicle equipped with a digital key system.

      HINT: 

      Refer to the digital key application.

  15. CHECK POWER SOURCE MODE CHANGING FUNCTION 
    1. Place the digital key on the center console near the vehicle interior BLE digital key receiver of another vehicle equipped with the digital key system.

      • Make sure that the digital key is not covered by or touching a metal object.
