  1. REGISTER ECU COMMUNICATION ID 
    1. Register the ECU communication ID code.

      Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]

  2. CHECK ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU) (TERMINAL EFII) 
    1. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

      (ID Code Box (Immobilizer Code ECU))

  5. CHECK WHETHER ENGINE STARTS 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Using an electrical key transmitter sub-assembly which is registered to the vehicle, turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Check that the engine can be started 5 seconds after the ignition switch turned to ON.

      OK

      Engine starts normally.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU) - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the D62 ID code box (immobilizer code ECU) connector.
    2. Disconnect the A20*1 or A19*2 ECM connector.
      1. *1: for A25A-FKS
      2. *2: for T24A-FTS
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      FOR A25A-FKS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D62-4 (EFIO) - A25-26 (IMI) Always Below 1 Ω
      D62-4 (EFIO) or A20-26 (IMI) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      FOR T24A-FTS

      D62-4 (EFIO) - A19-38 (IMI) Always Below 1 Ω

  7. CHECK ECM

    1. Disconnect the A20*1 or A19*2 ECM connector.
      1. *1: for A25A-FKS
      2. *2: for T24A-FTS

      Procedure1

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      1. *1: for A25A-FKS
      2. *2: for T24A-FTS
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
