DTC P011A-62: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1/2 Signal Compare Failure; DTC P111A-62: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1/3 Signal Compare Failure [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes

2. Record the Freeze Frame Data.

   HINT: 

   • When the engine is cold, the value of the engine coolant temperature sensor (for water inlet housing side), engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side) and engine coolant temperature sensor (for outlet side) should be approximately the same.
   • If only one of the sensors has deviating output values, this sensor may be malfunctioning.

1. Replace the engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side).

   HINT:

2. Read the Data List, when the engine is fully warmed up.
