EGR System Test: Notes
NOTE:
The EGR system check is to be performed when the idle speed is between 750-800 RPM and the engine temperature above is 122°F (50°C). There should NEVER be any EGR when the engine operates above 2800 RPM, is under a full load, or when the engine is cold.
NOTE:
Partial load enrichment is used when the engine is cold or during operation between 1000-2800 RPM with coolant above 122°F (50°C). It is canceled when coolant is between 86-122°F (30-50°C).
