Symptom: Transaxle-Incorrect Main Control Assemblies

ISSUE

Various shifting concerns and repeat repairs can be caused by installing the wrong model year main control assemblies. Each main control is unique to a specific application and must be used as indicated.

ACTION

Refer to the following Service Main Control Application Chart for correct parts usage. The service identification tag identifying the transaxle model number is located on the converter housing.
