Test L: One-Touch Down Feature Does Not Operate Properly
- Check One-Touch Down Feature - Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Lightly press driver door control switch driver door window switch down. If driver door window does not go all the way down, go to next step. If driver door window goes all the way down, go to step 3).
- Ensure One-Touch Down Feature Is Turned On - Press message center MENU switch until message center reads EXPRESS WINDOW. If one-touch down feature is ON, go to next step. If one-touch down feature is not ON, press SELECT switch to turn one-touch down feature on and retest system operation.
- Check Window Operation - Operate driver door window several times while observing window operation. If window operates smoothly without any sticking or binding, go to next step. If window does not operate smoothly without any sticking or binding, repair window mechanism as necessary and retest system operation.
- Check Cancel Operation With UP Switch - Operate driver door window to full UP position. Press driver door window control DOWN switch. While window is in motion, press driver door window control UP switch. If driver door window stops, system is operating properly at this time. If driver door window does not stop, replace driver door module and retest system operation.
