WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Lincoln Town Car. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. B1 CHECK CIRCUITS 1524 (DB) and 1213 (WH/LB) FOR VOLTAGE
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: DDM C501a and C501c.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the DDM, harness side and ground using the following chart:
      DDM CONNECTOR-PIN SPECIFICATION

      DDM Connector-Pin Circuit
      C501a-2 1213 (WH/LB)
      C501a-21 1524 (DB)
C501c-3 (if equipped with power striker only) 1213 (WH/LB)

    • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
    • Yes  : GO to  B2.
    • No  : REPAIR the circuit in question. REPEAT the self-test.
  2. B2 CHECK CIRCUITS 57 (BK) AND 676 (PK/OG) FOR AN OPEN
    • Measure the resistance between DDM C501a pin 1, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground; and between DDM C501a pin 5, circuit 676 (PK/OG), harness side and ground.
