Fuel System

The fuel system consists of:

The fuel pump is controlled by the powertrain control module (PCM). Electrical power to the pump is provided through the IFS switch located under the right front kick panel.

The engines are equipped with sequential multi-port fuel injection. The PCM is able to maintain constant fuel pressure by varying FPM output. This is accomplished by increasing or decreasing voltage supplied to the tank-mounted FPM.
