Pinpoint Test A: No Communication With The TPMS Module/Unable To Enter Self-Test

CAUTION: The Flex Probe Kit must be used for all test connections. Use of standard multimeter probes may damage wiring terminals.
  1. A1 CHECK CIRCUITS 1002 (BK/VT) AND 1003 (GY/YE) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Disconnect: TPMS Module C3183.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between TPMS module connector C3183-5, circuit 1002 (BK/VT) harness side and ground and between C3183-3, circuit 1003 (GY/YE) harness side and ground.
    • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts? 
    1. Yes  : GO to A2.
    2. No  : REPAIR circuit 1002 (BK/VT) or circuit 1003 (GY/YE). TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. A2 CHECK CIRCUIT 1205 (BK) FOR OPEN 
    • Measure the resistance between TPMS module harness connector C3183-6, circuit 1205 (BK) and ground.
    • Is the resistance greater than 5 ohms? 
    1. Yes  : REPAIR circuit 1205 (BK). TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. No  : CHECK the SCP communication circuits. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
