Knock Sensor (KS): Notes

NOTE: The thermostat housing must be removed to service the Knock Sensor (KS). For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM .
NOTE: The lower intake manifold must be removed to service the Knock Sensor (KS). For additional information, refer to ENGINE MECHANICAL - 3.5L for 3.5L engines or ENGINE MECHANICAL - 3.7L for 3.7L engines.
NOTE: Remove and discard the coolant tube O-ring seal. Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine coolant before installing the coolant tube.
