Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTC Table

TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IDENTIFICATION

DTC Description Action
P1260:61 Theft Detected, Vehicle Immobilized: Signal Calculation Failure If there are any Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) DTCs present in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), ADDRESS them first. This DTC can also indicate a Controller Area Network (CAN) concern or a parameter reset concern. Make sure to verify if there are any communication concerns/DTCs with any modules. REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If DTC P1260:61 is the only DTC present, there may be a parameter reset concern or a power or ground concern with the TCM. REFER to Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Parameter Reset . If necessary, CHECK the powers and grounds to the TCM. REFER to the Wiring Diagrams Information to determine the TCM power and ground circuits.
All other DTCs - REFER to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart in MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .
