DTC C1B00: Steering Angle Sensor: Description

While the ignition is ON and the voltage supply to the PSCM is above 6 volts, the module monitors the motor inside the EPAS gear to calculate the relative and actual steering wheel angle. This value is transmitted to other modules over the HS-CAN.

• DTC C1B00:49 (Steering Angle Sensor: Internal Electronic Failure) - If the PSCM does not receive information from the steering angle sensor within a predetermined time frame, DTC C1B00:49 is set.
• DTC C1B00:62 (Steering Angle Sensor: Signal Compare Failure) - If the calculated signal does not match other sensor input, DTC C1B00:62 is set.
