Body Control Module (BCM) Module Network Input Messages

| RKE data | Radio Transceiver Module (RTM) | The RTM sends Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) data to the BCM. The BCM uses this information to lock or unlock the doors, open the liftgate, to activate/deactivate the panic alarm or to request a remote start event. |
| Vehicle speed | Powertrain Control Module (PCM) | The BCM uses the vehicle speed data for autolock/auto-unlock and to ignore requests to open the liftgate when the vehicle is in motion. |
