Possible Causes

  1. AO1: CHECK THE RCM MOUNTING 
    • Verify the RCM is installed correctly and the fasteners are tightened to specifications.
    • Is the RCM mounted correctly? 
      Yes No
      CARRY OUT the RCM self-test. DIAGNOSE the DTCs present. REFER to Supplemental Restraint System article. Correctly INSTALL the RCM and/or tighten the fasteners to specification. REFER to Supplemental Restraint System article.
