Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The HUD module communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN2.

Possible Sources 

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

Verify BCM fuses 17 (5A) and 21 (5A) are OK.
