Possible Causes

  1. AT1: VERIFY THE NO COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTICS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED 
    NOTE: Diagnostics in Module Communications Network MUST BE CARRIED OUT before continuing with this pinpoint test.
    • Has the appropriate pinpoint test in  Module Communications Network  been carried out for the no communication concern? 
      Yes No
      INSTALL a new ABS module.
      CHECK OASIS for any applicable service
      articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA.
      If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions.
      If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) And Stability Control .
      ORDER a replacement ABS module and INCLUDE the RVC on the form.
      If this is a Ford paid repair, INCLUDE the RVC on the warranty claim form.
      When complete, SELECT the "X" in the top right corner to CLOSE this procedure.
      REFER to Module Communications Network and CARRY OUT the ABS module does not respond to the diagnostic scan tool pinpoint test.
