Module Network Input Messages - BCM

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Child lock request	DDM	Provides the BCM with the child lock request when the child lock button is pressed on the master window control switch.
Door lock switch status	DDM/ PDM	Provides the BCM with lock/unlock requests based on the input from the door lock control switch.
Driver door latch status	DDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the driver door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Driver rear door latch status	DDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the driver rear door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Message center feature configuration	IPC	Provides the BCM configuration settings selected by the driver of the vehicle, such as autolock and auto-unlock settings.
Passenger front door latch status	PDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the passenger front door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Passenger rear door latch status	PDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the passenger rear door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
RKE data	RTM	Provides the BCM with the RKE commands and, if equipped, passive key information.
Vehicle speed	ABS module	The BCM uses the vehicle speed data for autolock and auto-unlock features.

Module Network Input Messages - DDM

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Central lock command	BCM	Provides the DDM with a command to lock or unlock the door. The DDM sends the lock or unlock command to the respective RDM.

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Central lock command	BCM	Provides the PDM with a command to lock or unlock the door. The PDM sends the lock or unlock command to the respective RDM.

Module Network Input Messages - RGTM

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Vehicle lock status	BCM	Provides the RGTM with the lock/unlock status. The RGTM uses this message to determine when to allow the power liftgate to open when the release switch is pressed.
