DTC Chart: All-Terrain Control Module

Diagnostics in this article assume a certain skill level and knowledge of Ford-specific diagnostic practices. REFER to: Diagnostic Methods .

NOTE: The 4X4 switch module is known by the scan tool as the All-Terrain Control Module (ATCM).
DTC Description Action
U0140:00 Lost Communication With Body Control Module (BCM): No Sub Type Information GO to Pinpoint Test K 
U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure CLEAR the DTCs. CYCLE the ignition. CARRY OUT the Terrain Management module self-test. RETRIEVE and RECORD all DTCs Road test the vehicle, If the DTC returns, REFER to: Mode Select Switch (MSS) .
