Pinpoint Test AK : The Gateway Module (GWM) Does Not Respond To The Diagnostic Scan Tool: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The GWM communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN1 and HS-CAN2. The GWM operates as a gateway for communication between the modules on HS-CAN1, HS-CAN2, HS-CAN3, MS-CAN and Medium Speed Controller Area Network 2 (MS-CAN2) (if equipped with the trailer package).

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

Verify BCM fuses 13 (7.5A) and 15 (10A) are OK.
