TCCM Network Input Messages

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Wheel speed data ABS module The TCCM uses wheel speed information for the four-wheel drive system to determine percentage of torque to be transferred to the front wheels.
Steering wheel angle PSCM The TCCM uses wheel speed information for the four-wheel drive system to determine percentage of torque to be transferred to the front wheels.
The TCCM uses steering wheel angle information to disengage the 4WD clutch to prevent bind up during parking lot maneuvers in 4A, 4H, and to some degree in 4L.
Gear state TCM The TCCM uses gear state for the four-wheel drive system to determine percentage of torque to be transferred to the front wheels.
Drive Mode Module ATCM The TCCM uses the drive mode selection to determine the which 4WD mode and the percentage of torque to be transferred to the front wheels for the operating conditions.
Ignition Status BCM The TCCM compares the ignition status broadcast by the BCM with the hardwired input to enable shift motor operation.
Drive Door Status BCM The TCCM uses the driver door status for the neutral flat tow feature.
