Clutch Assembly: Installation
- If flywheel was removed on 626 models, apply sealant to mounting bolts to prevent oil leaks. On both models, lightly lubricate clutch component contact points and splines with molybdenum grease. Center clutch assembly with alignment tool.
- Align pressure plate and flywheel index marks. Install ring gear brake and tighten pressure plate bolts evenly, in a diagonal pattern. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
