Ignition Timing: Adjustments

Fig. 3 Location of timing marks:

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
2. Run the engine at idle speed.
3. Using a timing light, align the yellow mark on the crankshaft pulley with the proper point on the ignition timing scale embossed on the timing chain cover, Fig. 3, by turning the distributor with the vacuum lines connected.

IGNITION TIMING: 6° BTDC

IDLE SPEED: MANUAL 850 rpm AUTOMATIC 750 rpm
