Electrical Load (E/L) Solenoid Valve

Ensure all accessories are off and connect a tachometer. Bring engine to normal operating temperature and run at idle. Connect a jumper wire to the Blue wire of the E/L solenoid valve connector and ground. Engine speed should be at 900-950 RPM (M/T) and 1050-1100 RPM (A/T). If engine speed is not within specifications, adjust by turning the E/L solenoid adjusting screw. See Fig 1 .
