Tilt Mechanism: Reassembly
- Position upper mounting bracket on steering column. Install tilt lock bolt from left side. Ensure the lands under bolt head engage with slot in mounting bracket.
- Install and tighten tilt lever adjusting nut. Position lock lever on adjusting nut with lever against stop.
- Install and tighten tilt lever bolt. Check that tilt lever engages and disengages positively. To complete reassembly, reverse disassembly procedure.
