Code 13: Vacuum Sensor

Is there poor connection at connector? If yes, repair or replace. If connector is okay, check for battery voltage at C terminal of vacuum sensor connector. If battery voltage is not present, possible cause is open circuit in wiring harness from ignition switch to vacuum sensor. If battery voltage is present at C, is there 4.5-5.5V at B terminal of vacuum sensor connector?

If terminal B is not within specifications, possible cause is short circuit in wiring harness from terminal B of vacuum sensor to emission control unit or emission control unit faulty. If there is 4.5-5.5V at B terminal, measure 1E terminal voltage of emission control unit.

If more than 4.9V is present at 1E terminal, possible cause is open circuit of ground harness, open circuit of wiring harness from D terminal of vacuum sensor connector to 1E terminal of emission control unit.

If less than 0.25V is present at 1E terminal, possible cause is short circuit of wiring harness connected to vacuum sensor, open circuit of wiring harness from B terminal of vacuum sensor connector to 1G terminal of emission control unit.

If terminal 1E is .25-4.9V perform after-repair procedure.
