Solenoid Tests: Notes
NOTE:
Perform solenoid tests with starter assembled and field wire from starter disconnected at solenoid "M" terminal. See Figure.
CAUTION:
DO NOT engage starter solenoid for more than 10 seconds during testing or damage to coil winding may result.
