Continuity Test
- Disconnect stoplight switch connector. On RX7, using a DVOM, check continuity between Green/White wire and Green wire with brake pedal depressed.
- Ensure continuity exists. Release pedal, and note reading on DVOM. Continuity should not be present. If continuity is not as specified, check STOP fuse and wiring harness. Check wiring harness between stoplight switch and ABS control unit. Repair or replace if necessary. If fuse and wiring harness are okay, replace switch.
