Limit Switch (Front/Rear)

  1. Disconnect passive shoulder belt and front limit switch connectors. Position shoulder belt buckle forward and rearward as shown with emergency handle. See Fig 1 . Check for continuity between terminals using an ohmmeter.
    NOTE: Verify that shoulder belt buckle is in front/rear lock position when checking.
  2. With the buckle in the "Released" (front) position there should be continuity between terminals "a" and "b". With the buckle "Moving" there should be no continuity. With the buckle in the "Locked" (rear) position there should be continuity between terminals "f" and "h".
  3. If the above steps are not as specified, replace passive shoulder belt.
