DTC P1609 - Powertrain Control Module (CPU) Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not read DTCs from output devices. Cause is malfunctioning PCM. Replace PCM and erase any DTCs present. See CLEARING CODES  . Retest vehicle.
