Failure Indication

The number of times buzzers sounds indicates if keyless unit and CPU are communicating properly.

• Buzzer Sounds "1" Time - Keyless unit and CPU are communicating properly.
• Buzzer Sounds "2" Times - CPU is not receiving buzzer, trunk, unlock and lock signals from keyless unit. Check for open or short circuit in Red/Yellow wire between keyless unit (terminal "E") and CPU (terminal 2R), or for a damaged keyless unit.
