September 30: LEMON manuals is back up on a temporary server! Slowness is possible
Test No. 2
- Check DOOR LOCK fuse (30-amp) and ROOM fuse (15-amp) located in joint box, behind left kick panel. If fuses are good, go to next step. If fuse(s) is blown, repair wiring as necessary and replace fuse(s).
- Locate door lock timer unit behind right kick panel. Using DVOM, measure voltage at terminal "I" (White/Green wire) of door lock timer unit connector (backprobe connector). SeeFigure
. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair White/Green wire between door lock timer unit and joint box.
- Disconnect door lock timer unit connector. Check continuity between terminal "J" (Black wire) of door lock timer unit connector and ground. SeeFigure
. If continuity exists, reconnect connector and go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair Black wire between door lock timer unit and ground.
- Using DVOM, measure voltage at terminals "D" (Orange wire), "G" (Brown wire) and "H" (Yellow wire) of door lock timer unit connector. SeeFigure
. If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, check door lock timer unit. See DOOR LOCK TIMER UNIT TEST
under COMPONENT TESTS.
- Using DVOM, measure voltage at specified terminal of door lock timer unit connector with specified terminal grounded. SeeFigure
. See DOOR LOCK TIMER UNIT VOLTAGE TEST (TEST 2)
. If battery voltage is present at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present at all terminals, check door lock timer unit. See DOOR LOCK TIMER UNIT TEST
under COMPONENT TESTS.

- Using DVOM, measure voltage at terminal 2K (Green/Black wire) of CPU connector with driver's door lock knob in LOCK position. SeeFigure
. If battery voltage is present, replace CPU. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step.
- Using DVOM, measure voltage at terminal "E" (Blue/Red wire) of driver's door lock link switch connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair Blue/Red wire between driver's door lock link switch and joint box.
- Disconnect driver's door lock link switch connector. Check continuity between terminal "C" (Black wire) of driver's door lock link switch connector and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If continuity exists, reconnect connector and go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair Black wire between driver's door lock link switch and ground.
- Using DVOM, measure voltage at terminal "D" (Green/Black wire) of driver's door lock link switch connector with driver's door lock knob in LOCK position. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
. If battery voltage is present, repair Green/Black wire between CPU and driver's door lock link switch. If voltage is not as specified, check driver's door lock link switch. See DRIVER'S DOOR LOCK LINK SWITCH
under COMPONENT TESTS.
