DTC P0123: Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit High Input: Condition
DTC is set when input voltage from TP sensor is greater than 4.9 volts when ignition is turned on. Possible causes are:
- TP sensor malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between terminal No. 91 on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "B" on TP sensor.
- Short circuit between terminal No. 90 on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" on TP sensor.
- Short circuit between terminal No. 89 on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "C" on TP sensor.
- Open in circuit between negative battery terminal and terminals No. 24 (Black/White wire), No. 51 (Black/White wire), No. 76 (Black/White wire), No. 77 (Black/White wire) and No. 103 (Black/Red wire) on Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
