Maximum Steering Angle Adjustment

- Remove the steering gear boot clamp.
- Loosen the tie-rod end locknuts.
- Turn the tie rods equally to provide the correct maximum steering angle.
- After adjustment, tighten the locknuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
35-50 N.m {3.5-5.1 kgf.m, 26-36 ft.lbf}
- Adjust the toe-in.
- Verify that the boot is not twisted, and install the boot clamp.
