DTC P0120: Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Malfunction: Condition
DTC is set when input voltage from TP sensor is less than one volt or greater than 4.8 volts when ignition is turned on. Possible causes are:
- TP sensor malfunction.
- Open or short of Light Green/Red wire between terminal No. 3A on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "A" on TP sensor. See Figure and Figure .
- Open or short of Yellow wire between terminal No. 3B on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "B" on TP sensor. See Figure and Figure .
- Open or short of Black/Yellow wire between terminal No. 3AB on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and terminal "D" on TP sensor. See Figure and Figure .
- Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor malfunction.
