DTC P1609: Powertrain Control Module (Pcm) Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not read DTCs from output devices. Cause is malfunctioning PCM. Replace PCM and erase any DTCs present. See CLEARING CODES in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. Retest vehicle.
