Oil Pump

NOTE: The clearance between the lower cylinder block sealing surfaces on the oil pump and the cylinder block cannot exceed 0.8 mm (0.031 inch).


Install a new gasket, the oil pump and tighten the bolts in two stages:
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
^ Stage 2: Tighten an additional 45 degrees.
