Mode 2: EGR System Repair Verification
- Perform Drive Mode 1 first. See MODE 1: PCM ADAPTIVE MEMORY PROCEDURE .
- Verify all accessory loads (A/C, headlights, blower fan and rear window defroster) are "OFF".
- Drive the vehicle as specified. See Fig 1.
- Stop the vehicle and access to On-Board System Readiness menu to check the drive mode completion status. See ON-BOARD SYSTEM READINESS TESTS ACCESS PROCEDURE .
- If completed, RFC changes from "NO" to "YES".
- If not completed, turn the ignition key to "OFF", Then go back to step 3.
- Access to Diagnostic Monitoring Test Results menu to check the monitor results. See DIAGNOSTIC MONITORING TEST RESULTS . If measurements are not within specification, repair has not been completed.
- Verify no DTCs are available.
