Detection Condition

PCM measures the Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP2), which is the vacuum when a specified period has passed after EVAP system is sealed. PCM determines the pressure difference between FTP1 and FTP2. If pressure difference exceeds the threshold, PCM determines EVAP system has a small leak. This monitor can activate when the PCM determines that the Constantly Leak Detected test results are passed.
