Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR - 2.0L ZETEC

Removal and Installation




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE - 2.0L ZETEC.




2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) tube bracket bolts.




3. Remove the bolts and position the EGR aside.

5. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the sensor.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
