To Erase Additional Keys Using Only Two Programmed Keys
NOTE:
- With two programmed keys, it is possible to erase the codes for all OTHER additional keys to make them unusable (i.e. after they have been lost).
Erasure procedure:
- Follow steps 1 - 4 as described above.
- After second key, insert the first key AGAIN and switch ignition to ON.
- The security light will flash rapidly for five seconds.
- All key codes BUT the two keys used in this procedure have been erased and will not start the vehicle.NOTE:
- If the ignition is switched OFF before the five second period (described in step 3 ) has completed, the erasure procedure is cancelled and NO key codes are erased.
NOTE:- All keys erased may again be reprogrammed by following the programming procedure.
