DTC P0193 DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If the input voltage from the fuel pressure sensor is more than 4.8 V
for 1.3 s
, the PCM determines that the fuel pressure sensor circuit is high.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- DTCs are stored in the PCM memory.

- Fuel pressure sensor malfunction
- Open circuit in the wiring harness between fuel pressure sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2H
- Short to power in the wiring harness between fuel pressure sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 1V
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- PCM malfunction
