Yes | If only the parking lamps do not operate correctly with the RKE transmitters, Go to next step. If only the horn does not operate correctly with the RKE transmitters, go to step 3. If the horn and the parking lamps do not operate correctly with the RKE transmitters, go to step 4. |
| No | PROGRAM all of the RKE transmitters. See TAILGATE LATCH . After programming, if the concern still exists, a new RKE transmitter is necessary. Program all of the RKE transmitters. Inform the customer any RKE transmitters not present need to be programmed. | ||
| 2 | CHECK THE PARKING LAMP OPERATION

| No | Diagnose the inoperative parking lamps. See PARKING, REAR AND LICENSE PLATE LAMPS . | ||
| 3 | CHECK THE HORN OPERATION

Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | Diagnose the inoperative horn. See HORN . | ||
| 4 | CHECK THE SJB FOR CORRECT OPERATION
|
Yes | Install a new SJB. See SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) . Program all RKE transmitters. See TAILGATE LATCH . Inform the customer that any RKE transmitters not present need to be programmed. Clear the DTCs. Repeat the self-test. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. Clear the DTCs. Repeat the self-test. | ||
