ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE DOES NOT RESPOND TO DIAGNOSTIC TOOL PINPOINT TEST REFERENCE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	CHECK THE ABS MODULE 0413-102 FOR DAMAGE Key OFF. Disconnect: ABS module 0413-102. Inspect the ABS module 0413-102 for damage. Is the ABS module C135 OK?	Yes	Go to next step.
1		No	Repair the ABS module 0413-102. Carry out the WDS or equivalent tester data link test.
2	CHECK THE ISO 9141 CIRCUIT BETWEEN THE DLC AND THE ABS MODULE FOR AN OPEN Measure the resistance between the ABS module 0413-102 pin 16, circuit (LB/W), harness side and the DLC D-01 pin 7, circuit (LB/W), harness side. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?	Yes	Go to next step.
2		No	Repair circuit (LB/W) for an open. Carry out the WDS or equivalent tester data link test.
3	CHECK FOR CORRECT ABS MODULE OPERATION Disconnect all the ABS module connectors. Check for: corrosion pushed-out pins Connect all the ABS module connectors and make sure they seat correctly. Operate the system and verify the concern is still present. Is the concern still present?	Yes	Install a new ABS module. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE . Carry out the WDS or equivalent tester data link test.
3		No	The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. Clear the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Repeat the self-test. Carry out the WDS or equivalent tester data link test.
