DTC Reading Procedure

Connect the M-MDS or equivalent to the DLC-2.

After the vehicle is identified, from the initial screen select the following items:
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
  1. Select the "Tool Box" tab
  2. Select "Self test"
  3. Select "Modules"
  4. Select "PCM"
- When using the PDS (Pocket PC)
  1. Select "Modules tests"
  2. Select "PCM"
  3. Select "Self test"
Then, select "Retrieve CMDTCs" and perform the procedures according to the directions on the screen.
Verify the DTC according to the directions on the screen.
- If any DTCs are displayed, perform the troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.
After completion of repairs, Clear all DTCs stored in the PCM, while refering to AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE .
