DTC P2229 DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

BARO sensor circuit high input

DETECTION CONDITION

PCM monitors the input voltage from the BARO sensor. If the input voltage at the PCM is above 4.45 V , the PCM determines that the BARO sensor circuit has a malfunction.

Diagnostic support note

This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
DTCs are stored in the PCM memory.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

BARO sensor malfunction
PCM malfunction
