PINPOINT TEST 1		THE MIRRORS ARE INOPERATIVE
STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	CHECK THE SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) FUSE Key in OFF position. Check fuse: Smart junction box (SJB) fuse 30 (5A). Is the fuse OK?	Yes	Go to next step.
1		No	Install a new fuse. Test the system for normal operation. If fuse 30 (5 A) fails again, check for a short to ground. Repair as necessary.
2	CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE EXTERIOR REAR VIEW MIRROR CONTROL - CIRCUIT (BR/R) Disconnect: Exterior rear view mirror switch 0912-301. Measure the voltage between exterior rear view mirror switch 0912-301 pin 4, circuit (BR/R), and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?	Yes	Go to next step.
2		No	Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation.
3	CHECK CIRCUIT (B/L) FOR OPEN Measure the resistance between exterior rear view mirror switch 0912-301 pin 8, circuit (B/L), and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?	Yes	Go to next step.
3		No	Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation.
4	CHECK CIRCUIT (G/Y) FOR OPEN Disconnect: LH exterior rear view mirror 0912-302. Disconnect: RH exterior rear view mirror 0912-303. Measure the resistance between exterior rear view mirror switch 0912-301 pin 7, circuit (G/Y), and LH exterior rear view mirror 0912-302 pin 2, circuit (G/Y). Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?	Yes	Install a new exterior rear view mirror control switch. Test the system for normal operation.
4		No	Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation.
