Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair

NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R]

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the battery cover, battery duct, battery, battery box, battery tray and PCM component Removal and Replacement

4. Remove the under cover.

5. Drain the oil from the transaxle.

6. Remove the neutral switch.






7. Install the neutral switch (with a new packing) to the transaxle case.

Tightening torque
- 20-29 Nm {2.0-2.9 kgf-m, 15-21 ft-lbf}

8. Add the specified amount and type of oil. Transaxle Oil Replacement [G35M-R]

9. Install the under cover.

10. Install the battery cover, battery duct, battery, battery box, battery tray and PCM component Removal and Replacement

11. Connect the negative battery cable.

12. Install the battery cover. Removal and Replacement
