4WD CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION









Removal and Installation

1.

CAUTION:Before removing the audio unit, it must be placed in shipment mode. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the audio unit.Put the audio unit in shipment mode. See Programming and Relearning.

2. Using the audio unit removal tool SST 415-001, remove the audio unit. See Service and Repair.






3. Disconnect the audio unit electrical connector(s) and antenna cable.






1. Remove the screws. Disengage the spring clips. Remove the instrument panel finish panel.






1. Remove the 4WD control module.
a. Disengage the locking tangs and disconnect the electrical connectors.

b. Remove the screws.

c. Remove the 4WD control module.

2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
